PAWS (People, Animals, Walking, Serving)
PAWS is a group of FUMC-Cary volunteers who gather as registered therapy dogs teams to provide Christian faith, compassion and outreach to our members, both young and old alike.
Our objective is to form a network of therapy dog teams at FUMC-Cary who will work together to serve the Lord by sharing the gift of pet therapy. This may include, but is not limited to, reading dog sessions, friendly visits with church members in assisted care, and local school visits.
Our long term goal is to be able to work out into the community, with our special friends, to help others in need or in crisis.
